Perfection

A perfect coffee: nice aesthetics, balanced, not too cold or hot, not to strong taste with freshly ground coffee beans, soft colors, nice vibes, music, friendly barista.. what else?

Dear traveler,

Hope you are having an amazing week. I have been wanting to write about this topic for a long time. It's something that's been on my mind for a while, and I can't think of any other way to share it than on this blog with you because if you are here, you might share some of my thoughts.

What is perfection? Does perfection even exist? I always read things like "great is the enemy of good" and that “get things done” is enough. Action and moving forward to the next task are prioritized. But... have we neglected things done well? Is the world we live in driven by impulse rather than attention to detail?

We believe that perfection somehow exist, or getting as close as you can, and Luxscape is a clear representation of that"good" isn't enough for us, "perfect" is. Sometimes things don’t go as expected (delayed flights, last minute business meeting, sold out tickets…) but if this happens, we know how to fix it. That's the philosophy, the philosophy of obsession with details, working with your heart and soul on it.

I really like the Japanese philosophy of the "artisan". It's about someone who dedicates all their passion, strength, and energy to something. The sushi chef or shokunin (職人) it is used to describe the person who masters the craft of sushi, treats each piece as if it were a work of art, handling it with delicacy, as if it were gold, often over a lifetime. This little piece of art made of rice then is shared with others in the restaurant, like when we build a trip, that is when value is created and shared.

This is how we should approach things. We should take care of what we do, whether it's a large project or something as small as a little cup of coffee. Perfection lies in the details, and at Luxscape, we want to emphasize this with this text.

See you soon.
