Travel & Sleep
Room tour provided by Hotel Casa de las Artes by Meliá
Traveling is a wonderful experience, but we have to admit it's not always as simple or seamless as we'd like. No matter how much effort we put in, it involves hours of travel, transportation, carry suitcases... the simple act of flying affects our bodies and we have to admit it: it is tiring despite all the facilities we can have along the way. That is why it is so important to get a good night's sleep upon arrival at the hotel. It is not easy, it goes beyond having a comfortable room or matress; you need the right conditions to do so.
Lately, the tourism industry has recognized this need to rest and it is improving giving guest some options to adjust to themselves: temperature control, sound, pillows, blackout curtains... every detail counts for the best sleep. Other devises that also could help and I truly recommend: Oura Ring which helps tracking different metrics to understand your sleep and Timeshifter to help with jet-lag, among many others.
It's interesting, but I recently discovered that many people struggle to get enough sleep and rest, and travel can disrupt these conditions even further. Investigating about this topic, I met expert Christina Ribel, a Holistic Sleep Coach specializing in helping people and travelers from all over the world to sleep well.
Over coffee in one of our favorite destinations, Marbella, we delved deeper into this conversation, and I personally loved Cristina's approach—a holistic one that helps travelers both upon arrival and after their trip to maintain healthy sleep and rest habits incorporated into their daily routine. It's a truly transformative experience.
At Luxscape, we select carefully hotels that truly meet the best standards of quality and allow our clients to sleep in the best conditions, without any interruptions. Also we are very pleased to have Christina as a partner to help our travelers from all over the world regain that state of rest during their travels.
Remember, a rested mind could enhance the purpose of your trip, despite it is for work or pleasure. Sometimes, doing “nothing” is necessary to recharge the energy for doing even more. Start your next wellness trip with us.
